QUESTIONS EVERY LANDLORD SHOULD ASK A POTENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY: Part 2

QUESTIONS EVERY LANDLORD SHOULD ASK A POTENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY: Part 2

Let’s pick up where we left off!

5. Is Preventive Maintenance Important to your Company?

This is because properties can deteriorate and lose value when it is not prevented. Ensure the property manager has a maintenance log showing the inspected properties.

  1. How is the Maintenance Handled?

There is a need to know if the maintenance is carried out by dedicated maintenance technicians or by mere technicians.

  1. How the Property Manager Manages Emergency?

Allow the property manager to explain how emergencies like fire, leak and water casualties are handled by their company.

  1. How Tenants are selected?

Ask the criteria for selecting tenants and the tenant selection plan.

  1. Is the Property Manager Transparent?

Be sure the property manager will offer you access to collections, reports, accounts, and payables. This is important because you as the owner of the property needs to have access to the records of your property at a defined frequency.

  1. The Property Manager Area of Specialty:

This is the last question that will be explained in the article. It is important you understand that there is a different specialty in property management. Let a commercial property expert handle your commercial property, an industrial property expert should handle your industrial property etc.

In conclusion, retaining the perfect property manager can go as far as enhancing the value of your property. Work with a strong property management company if you also have plans to expand your property in the nearest future.

Are you planning to hire the best property management company? If yes, then www.lapmg.com  is just a click away from giving you the best you deserve.
